International Symposium on Gravity, Geoid and Height Systems GGHS 2012 - First Announcement

The traditional symposium "Gravity, Geoid and Height Systems GGHS2012" is organized by IAG Commission 2 with the assistance of the International Gravity Field Service (IGFS). It will be arranged by the OGS (Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale) which has presently the role of the Central Bureau of the IGFS. The symposium will take place on the island of San Servolo in the Venetian Lagoon. The first focus theme of this symposium is global height systems and their maintenance and implementation.
