This year we celebrate 150th Anniversary of the International Association of Geodesy.
The IAG was create after sighing the plan of international geodetic measurement along the parallel between Ireland and Ural by 16 European countries.
The author of the plan of this international company – Prussian geodesist I. Bayer had been communicated for this matter with the well known Russian astronomer-geodesist V. Struve.
